FROM A KROGER PARKING LOT
TO THE DIGITAL FRONTIER
The Origin
I’m a Gen X, former latch-key kid from Newark, Ohio—as "small-town America" as it gets. My creative voice was forged in a theater group that performed on hay-covered flatbed trucks. That’s where I learned that if you can capture an audience’s heart in front of a grocery store, you can capture it anywhere.
The Evolution
My career came of age in 90s Chicago, right at the intersection of the DIY indie film renaissance and the birth of digital editing. As an early adopter of Avid and Premiere, I learned to embrace the raw spontaneity of video and the surgical precision of the edit. This "outsider art" spirit eventually led me to establish my own production house, where my film and narrative projects live today.

The Philosophy
Challenges excite me; collaboration inspires me. Whether I’m writing a six-part limited series or a strategic brand pivot, I believe in the "superhuman power" of relatable storytelling to make sense of a crazy, mixed-up world. I don't just write copy—I build ports for people to launch from.
